The international building and building services industry fair for professionals, FinnBuild 2010, will be held during 6–9 October 2010. The event is organised every other year, now for the 19th time.

FinnBuild is rich in programme content and as a meeting place of the industry offers an extensive review of the entire industry and its main players. FinnBuild is the biggest and the most significant exhibition of its field in Finland, and it presents the best knowledge, products, services and solutions of building industry. FinnBuild is for professionals, medium, students, and on Saturday also for consumers.

FinnBuild 2010 Highlights

FinnBuild 2010 will for the second time feature a selection of the most interesting products, services or solutions at the fair, known as FinnBuild Highlights. The FinnBuild Highlights are chosen by an independent panel of experts. Last time, at FinnBuild 08 fair, Highlights were launched at the press conference and they got lots of publicity at the fair and medium.

FinnBuild 2010 Highlights will be presented visibly at the fair, and Highlights will be one of the main subject in the publicity materials of the event.

Selection criteria

In the selection of the Highlights, emphasis will be given to new applications of construction and building technology know-how, or to the innovative combination of new and old information in a way that has led or will lead to commercial utilization.

Registration and selection

All parties registered as FinnBuild 2010 exhibitors can make Highlights nominations. More information about the time schedule and participation guidelines will be released later at this website.

FinnBuild 2010 Highlights will be selected by an independent panel. The panel will select the Highlights based on their own internal deliberation.
The work of the expert panel will be confidential. No information about nominations will be given to outside parties without the nominee’s express permission.
