Vratsa Limestone From Bulned Ltd

ABOUT US

BULNED was created in 1998. The main subject of activity is extraction, processing and commerce of VRATZA LIMESTONE, SHELLSTONE AND MARBLE.

The block’s extraction started in 1998. The factory began its production in 2002. BULNED offers shaped blocks, slabs with various surface finishing, different cut-to-size elements and standard calibrated thin tiles. The VRATZA LIMESTONE products have been very well accepted on the European markets for more than hundred years.

QUARRIES

Bulned Ltd operate in two quarries where excavate Vratza limestone and Vratza shelstone.

In quarry Mizia we extract VRATZA LIMESTONE. The quarry is situated near the village of Varbeshnitsa, at 16 km north-east from Vratza town, with well-developed infrastructure (electricity, road and water supply). The monthly capacity of the quarry is over 700 m3. The material has broad application for indoor and exterior use. It's strength and frost resistance are especially highly appreciated for facade cladding even in countries with freezeing climate conditions.

BULNED's second quarry, situated near the village of Manastirishte, at 50 km north-west from Vratza town, for extraction of VRATZA SHELLSTONE. The material has very beautiful and tender cream color. The structure and the advantages of this stone are well known and used since more than hundred years in European contries.

The monthly capacity of the quarry is over 200 m3. Since 2005 the company is developing it's third quarry for VRATZA MARBE, beige coloured material, exceptional for internal cladding and flooring. The quarry is situated near the village of Gorna Beshovitza, 50 km north-east from Vratza town.

FACTORY

BULNED factory's hall area is over of 11 000 m2, situated near "N. Vaptsarov" Blvd in the Industrial area of Vratza town.

The equipment comprises: brand new machines for processing of natural material: gang-saw machines; bridge saw cutting machines for trimmed slabs and different cut-to-size elements, polishing line for slabs, block cutting disc machines, trimming macnine, cross cutting machines, calibrating and bush-hammering line for slabs, line for calibrated thin tiles in standard sizes 12” x 12”, 16” x 16”, 18” x 18” and 24” x 24” machines for split face and rustic face finishings and the first for the branch in Bulgaria waste water treatment plant.

The factory capacity for polished slabs is over 15,000 m2 polished slabs per month.

The monthly capacity for calibrated thin tiles is over 17,000 ?2.
