The Exhibition is organized by the Committee for entrepreneurship in construction and municipal economy of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Exhibition Complex “Expostroy na Nakhimovskom” and carried out under a support of the Ministry of economical development and trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of natural resources of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of builders, the Russian Union of architects with a participation of the Association “Stone Centre” (Russia), “Hummel GmbH” (Germany), “Confindustria Marmomacchine-Assomarmomacchine” (Italy).

The Exhibition “EXPOSTONE” – is the main and the most representative specialized Exhibition in Russia, whose exponents are leading domestic and foreign companies in the field of mining, processing and use of natural stone. During 10 years of its existence the Exhibition began to play an important role in a development of this economy sector and is an evidence of a constantly growing demand for natural stone.

15th International Fair of Stone And Stone Machinery INTERKAMIEN

Owing to the special character of this industry and of the exhibited range of products and services, the Kielce fair is a unique event on the Polish exhibition market. Although it is a rather small-scale exhibition, it is worth visiting, especially by representatives of stone processing companies, by architects, building investors and contractors, as well as by individual customers. It is here that they will find all things related to stone intended for processing and stone as a material to be used in private homes. The range of exhibited products encompasses not only stone processing equipment, building stone and aggregate, but also blocks, paving flags, tiles, sculptures, fireplaces and fountains. The international building and building services industry fair for professionals, FinnBuild 2010, will be held during 6–9 October 2010. The event is organised every other year, now for the 19th time.

FinnBuild is rich in programme content and as a meeting place of the industry offers an extensive review of the entire industry and its main players. FinnBuild is the biggest and the most significant exhibition of its field in Finland, and it presents the best knowledge, products, services and solutions of building industry. FinnBuild 2010 Highlights

FinnBuild 2010 will for the second time feature a selection of the most interesting products, services or solutions at the fair, known as FinnBuild Highlights. The FinnBuild Highlights are chosen by an independent panel of experts. Last time, at FinnBuild 08 fair, Highlights were launched at the press conference and they got lots of publicity at the fair and medium.

FinnBuild 2010 Highlights will be presented visibly at the fair, and Highlights will be one of the main subject in the publicity materials of the event.

Selection criteria

In the selection of the Highlights, emphasis will be given to new applications of construction and building technology know-how, or to the innovative combination of new and old information in a way that has led or will lead to commercial utilization.

All parties registered as FinnBuild 2010 exhibitors can make Highlights nominations. More information about the time schedule and participation guidelines will be released later at this website.

FinnBuild 2010 Highlights will be selected by an independent panel. The panel will select the Highlights based on their own internal deliberation.
The work of the expert panel will be confidential. No information about nominations will be given to outside parties without the nominee’s express permission.

Natural Stone & Building Conservation Conference 2011

Taking place in the stunning South Gallery Rooms overlooking the Royal Victoria Dock, The Natural Stone & Building Conservation Conference has established itself as an important event in the stone industry calendar.

The 4th edition of the Conference maintains its objective of bringing together all of those who have an interest in the design and use of stone as a building material. Thematic sessions will fit into the following format:

Day 1 is the designated Architects' Day. In conjunction with the Royal Institute of British Architects, Marmomacc Veronafiere and The Architects' Journal, this session will explore the challenges facing architects and designers in fulfilling sustainability criteria when building and specifying with stone.

Day 2 takes the form of an Industry Day. Stone Federation Great Britain will present their RIBA CPD accredited Stone in the City seminar providing an overview on the use of stone from the selection process to the finished project and giving an insight into the trends and analysis of the UK stone market.

The final day is dedicated to stone conservation and will be overseen by English Heritage and their affiliated organisations. Speakers will report on the findings of a range of research projects focusing on specialist stone-related issues and the efforts being made to safeguard the UK's built heritage.

The event will offer accredited Continuing Professional Development training for delegates, as well as providing plenty of time to visit the show.
