The Exhibition is organized by the Committee for entrepreneurship in construction and municipal economy of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Exhibition Complex “Expostroy na Nakhimovskom” and carried out under a support of the Ministry of economical development and trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of natural resources of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of builders, the Russian Union of architects with a participation of the Association “Stone Centre” (Russia), “Hummel GmbH” (Germany), “Confindustria Marmomacchine-Assomarmomacchine” (Italy).

The Exhibition “EXPOSTONE” – is the main and the most representative specialized Exhibition in Russia, whose exponents are leading domestic and foreign companies in the field of mining, processing and use of natural stone. During 10 years of its existence the Exhibition began to play an important role in a development of this economy sector and is an evidence of a constantly growing demand for natural stone.

In 2008 in the Exhibition participated more than 400 companies from 24 world countries: Austria, Armenia, Belgium, Brazil, Germany, Greece, Egypt, India, Jordan, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Lebanon, Norway, Pakistan, Portugal, Russia, San-Marino, Saudi Arabia, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, France.

We were born from the idea of offering marble products developed for the unique need of the yacht industry. Our founders, after years of experience gained in the yacht industry and marble business, developed the new idea of producing and propose lightweight marble.

The aim was to find a new concept of a product in accordance with the needs of the companies of interior yacht refinement and artistic marble production.

This conceptual connection gave the birth to our panel that is light and does not break. From that stage, we started to develop many differentiated products, still from the same production process, introducing the utilisation of water-jet machine, we realised inlaid lightweight panel.

Within the introduction of water-jet trough Cad-Cam machinery we start to offer “cut on size” services. At the end of our experimentation we are really in the condition to offer a complete range of lightweight products.

Larvik Granite AS

Established in 1987, Larvik Granite is one of the youngest, but most successful quarry owners in Norway.

Blue Pearl, the most famous of the Larvik stones, is characterised by its large blue, pearly crystals, set in a luxurious deep blue stone. The name "Blue Pearl" covers a wide range of materials, with varying colours and qualities. Our range of stones are all of the same high quality, but to make life easier for customers, we have chosen to group them according to colouring, ranging from LG HQ Plus, the darkest of stones, to LG Light the lightest coloured alternative.

Silver Pearl® is a dark grey stone with large, shiny pearls. It is available in two types; Silver Pearl® and Silver Pearl® Building. Colouring and quality are the same, but Silver Pearl® Building is cut at a 45 degree angle to increase efficienty and lower prices. Such cutting is possible due to the shape and size of crystals. Uniform colour, competitive pricing and high availability makes Silver Pearl® quite unique and a perfect project material.

Emerald Pearl is an elegant dark green stone with silver-blue pearls. The quarry is still under development, so we have not yet reached the best qualities. At present, production is mainly commercial qualities, but the stone has a uniform structure and quality is consistent. In newer levels, we see improved colour and quality. In the future, we will be able to supply a total range of Emerald Pearl from commercial to the best possible quality.

Blue Antique® is slightly different to our other granite stones, with its unique warm brown colour, and blue and turquoise crystals. Blue Antique® can be cut in any directions, as crystals and colouring are strong and evenly spread, meaning that first choice materials can be sourced from second and third choice blocks.

Masi Quartzite is also known as Verde Lapponia and Lapland Green. The materials has a unique green colouring with extraordinary patterns. Through the use of resin, lower qualities can be used with good results. For this reason, we have decided to reduce the price gap between the various qualities, making this very limited material more available.

Granite from Finnish bedrock is a popular raw material for the stone prosessing industry. Some 95% of all the granite blocks quarried in Finland is exported to Europe, Asia and further afield. Almost all our raw material comes from two key quarries with a total annual production of about 10,000 m3 of raw granite. Granicon continuously seeks out new deposits and new types of stone.

Balmoral Red, Baltic Brown and Carmen Red granites are well known worldwide for their uniform strength of colour. With production at 10,000 cubic meters, a strict classification system and large deposits, Granicon has the resources to provide its clients with high-quality blocks of uniform texture and colour.

Large and well-shaped blocks

The bedrock in our quarries makes it possible to take out large blocks, a clear and added value for Granicon clients. A large, well-shaped block is always a good place from which to start further processing. The modern Finnish quarrying technologies deployed by Granicon secure blocks that respond to the wishes of the client. A stone processor can exploit Granicon block to maximum.
